Dwelling in the Passage: Currents that Were + Weave a Way Through
Sara O’Brien

Dwelling in the Passage: Currents that Were + Weave a Way Through is a text written for CCA Annex in tandem with and as a response to Ailbhe Ní Bhriain’s recent exhibition at the CCA, An Experiment with Time, Sat 5 February — Sat 19 March 2022. The text explores many of the themes and concerns that circulated in Ní Bhriain’s work, including how imperial legacies linger in the present, the histories and consequences of technological advancements, the changing nature of representation, myth, memory, how objects, architectures and images become invested with time and the sometimes strange nature of the temporalities that we inhabit.
